Sara's Adventure
Storyboard Text
- Sara is a little girl that is courageous and an adventurous girl that is confident, resilient, and creative. Though, Sara was born without an arm.
- Sara is nervous to go to school but she keeps strong and knows everything will be alright.
- One day, Sara goes home and over hears a conversation in her parents room about her going to school during the middle of the term.
- We have to send her to school
- Sara is nervous and scared to go school as it is a big challenge for her and that she fears she will be judged for her appearance.
- Sara takes deep breathes in and walks in to school.
- Everything goes well for Sara and it seems no one has judged her and she gets informed they will be going on a school trip to the hospital the next day and the bell rings for lunch.
- 2 Weeks Later
- All the students make fun of Sara about her appearance and Sara is scared, confused, and upset.
- Sara is devastated and upset and questions why why does she get judged for what she looks like and fears school.
- After last night, Sara wakes up and is upset and why does she look like this and she is confused why she is being treated like this for her looks and does not know what to do.
- Sara is still upset and is telling herself if she should even go to school anymore and she feels so alone in this world feels like no one understands her and that she should stay from school
- The class are being taken around the hospital by a doctor and are being educated about different things and yet Sara still feel upset and leaves the room to go to the bathroom.
- On the way to the hospital for her school trip, Sara stares outside the bus window and is as hot as a pepper and is so angry at the other students and ignores everyone.
- They got to the hospital and Sara feels so left out that she feels like an invisible person no one can see and just wants to run away.
- Sara accidentally walks into a patients room and sees a paraplegic patient and the patient talks to her about how it sucks not being able to move and to always be grateful for what you have because some people may have worse conditions. Sara is happy and finally accepts that she will have to live without an arm and that she should not give up and be happy.
