Dimitri Chrysostomos, an average Greek boy living in the Aussie suburbs. His strict ethnic parent s will not allow him possess much technology, unfortunately in his case Dimitri’s passions are.. you guessed it ….technology and media. He wants, no, he needs a new iPad to realize his media projects, his ideas , and his future ALIVE!
Why didn’t anyone like the play on Ancient Greece?it was a tragedy
See my boy the Greeks started western civilization , not to mention art, architecture, mythology, philosophy. Aristotle was a great philospher nicknamed the mind. - he had no iPad yet he was able to do great things….so there you go.
Theo, Dimitris Father always had something to say on greek subjects, these patriotic acts of kindness towards his saw no bounds.
The epic speech that won victory the same as Alexander the Great with his troops went a little something like this…”Dad we hold a very honourable last name, Chrysostomos, meaning golden mouth, named after an important archbishop was able to public speak and preach quite elequontly. There fore i stand here today to speak and ask you, as an honourable son who has always respected you, our family and my curfews for you to honour my future with a new iPad so i can excel in my work and passions of media. My tablet now keeps freezing and is unable to update keep me from fulfilling my full potential. Dad, this iPad could be the beginning of me connecting the dots to my future and my strengths. Help me become another greek great, help me give honor to our Chrysostomos name… and here’s some baklava
That night Dimitri had a rather peculiar dream….
Pathos
Fine, you’ve convinced me now leave me the baklava and leave me in peace to shower
LOGOS
ETHOS
Still the dream….
THE MIND
What would you call a Greek philosopher who loved to eat rice all the time?Arisotto
The roots of education is bitter, but the fruit is sweet
Whaaaaat?my dads Greek talks must really be getting in my head.maybe I’ll google it?
I shall play my father at his own game. Ill persuade him to get me the iPad using logos, pathos and ethos.. but first ill lure him in with his faviourite treat, baklava
2 enlightened hours later and some screaming goat videos. Dimitri knew what to do
MWAHAHAHAHA!it’ll finally be mine
And thus goes down in history, another Greek Great, Dimitri Chrystomos the boy who did the impossible and used not rebellion, nor relentless annoying nagging but the power of PERSUASION!
You wont regret it….um, are you showering with clothes on?
