Hey Tim! How are you ? Its been long since we had played together.
Since we know that tangent is perpendicular over base now,set up the equation tan 30= x / 30 1/√3 = x / 30 x= 10√3m
I am good . Actually due to fever the Doctor had advised to stay at home .But now, since am well let's play the slide,.
The angle of elevation of the top of a slide from a point on the ground , which is 30m away from the foot of the slide is 30 degrees. what would be the height of the slide ?
I just solved and found out the that the length of the slide is 10√3m!
I was just wondering about that. I remember last year how we found the height and hypotenuse of this slide.
OK. Wait let us use trignometry to find out the height since the angle of elevation is given to be 30 degrees and the base is equal to 30m . We must use sine to find out the height of the slide.
YEAH! Right.
30degree
30m
Yes! Its really that simple!!!
I got that same answer too!!
Now lets go and find the angle of elevation for all the other slides!
Ok, but first come down the slide... its so fun!!!!!
