- Hi students this is Jacob and he is here in our class today to talk about what it is like to live in Cuba
- Hi I am happy to be here. Let me start by saying Cuba is very different from Canada
- Can you tell us what it is like to go to the store in Cuba
- Sure,in Canada you are very lucky to be able to go to the store and buy whatever you want
- In Cuba you can't buy what you want ?
- Nope where i live the government decides how much is on store shelves and how much we can buy
- THE GOVERNMENT DECIDES WHAT YOU CAN BUY ? (gasp) !
- Yes and we have to wait in long line ups just to get hat we need
- I hate long line ups
- No try many hours on end and probably still not get what you need
- How long 5 minutes
- Wow i did't realize two countries could be so different
- So the next time you go to Costco to buy toilet paper and there is none think of me LOL
- Me neither I guess I never realized how different going to the store could be
