- The devil then challenged God again, and took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple in the holy city.Jesus responded in the same manner as before, citing the word of God.

- In a last attempt to tempt Jesus, the devil took Jesus to the mountains overlooking the kingdoms and their glory.
- ""Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and him only you shall serve."
- Jesus responded with firmness.
- Poof!
- "Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him." Matthew 4:11
- This story teaches us that we must resist temptation because God can give you eternal happiness instead of temporary happiness.
