Storyboard Text
- Sir Gawain had just come back from the store. He had to buy his pet dog Marley dog food, when Gawain entered his apartment something was off. When Gawain would come home Marley would always greet him. He saw there was a scroll on the table that read If you want your dog back, you must show me you are courageous meet me at this location and you will see your precious dog again. Signed The GK
- Sir Gawain rushed to his room and started packing a travlers bag. He was determined to get his dog back and prove to the Green Knight that he was couragous
- I will save you Marley!
- Gawain had been traveling for three days. Before he had to save Marley he had to recover a hidden ring, this ring held special powers. Those who put it on were to not die in a couragous battle in a cave. Gawain started to give up, but suddenly, Gawain found the cave and rushed inside to retrieve the ring. he slipped in on his finger and went on his way.
- Finally, Gawain arrived where the Green Knight and Marley were. Gawain was so happy to see that his dog was okay, and suddenly Gawain knew why the Green Knight wanted to do all this. Gawain cut the Green Knights' neck and wanted to get back at Gawain.
- When Gawain arrived at his destination, he immediately spotted Marley. he was so happy to see him, he felt confident that he will pass the Green Knights challenge.
- Gawain, may God Guard you! You are welcome to my dwelling.
- The Green Knight swung his axe toward Gawain, which caused him to flinch away. This caused the Green Knight to become upset with Gawain calling him a coward, Gawain knew he wasn't a coward, so he stood tall and told him to get it over with tilting his head to expose his neck. The Green Knight swung the huge axe toward Gawains' neck slicing the skin, Gawain felt a slight sting but no damage was done, only to end up with a graze.
- Not again shall I flinch as I did before, but if my head pitch to the plain, it's off evermore.
- The Green Knight knew Gawain did this to get his dog back, he saw how much he loved the puppy. He has the same love for his lady back at his castle it wasn't about bravery anymore, it was about love and the Green Knight gave a slight nod at the young man, congratulated him, and left leaving the boy and his dog to have a beautiful reunion.The End
