- Hello! I am a  rock called Sarah, and today I'm going to take you through the steps of the rock cycle 
-   The first step I went through  is weathering!  This is the process when rock are broken down without transportation. 
- Then i went through erosion , when little rock pieces are removed from the source and transported. 
- Then i went through transportation.This is a process in the rock cycle when the sediment is moved to a seashore or a river bed. 
- The forth process I went through was deposition. This is when rock pieces are lay down in layers. The heavier one usually go first, followed by the finer ones
- The next process I go through, when becoming a sedimentary rock, is compaction. Once the sediments are deposited, the weight of the sediments squeezes the rocks together. They become compact and joined together. 
- Then, I went through the process of heat and pressure , also known as metamorphism . This is when rock change their structure due to excess heat and pressure. I then became a metamorphic rock. 
- The next process I went through lava eruption. When volcanos erupt, magma is forced onto the surface. This is a vital step of the rock cycle. 
- The next, and last process is solidification. This is when the volcanic magma solidifies and the rock is formed. After this, the rock cycles begins agin, forming billions of new rocks.
