- Grant was making the plan to attack the camp of the confederates .
- Retreat!!!
- At 8:30 am on November 7, 1861, Grant and his Army used steamboats to arrive then They marched south until they were one mile away from Camp Johnson.
- Good job soldiers!
- Run!!
- The union army attacked the Conferderate army
- Go! Go! GO!

- Ulysses Grant won and got to happy and decided to set the camp on fire but the confederates got burned and killed in th fire. The confederates knew that it was intentional and sent more soldiers to fight them.

- As the Union forces marched back to Hunter's farm the Confederates attcked them with large - ranged cannons.
- Union forces reached their waiting steamships and set sail back to Paducah, Kentucky.Around 3000 Union troops and 5000 confederates soldiers. For the Confederates they lost 105 soldiers, 419 were wounded, and 117 were captured. For the union there was 120 killed, 383 wounded, and 104 missing or captured.
