- They're always there, in the dark corner of mycloset. But I've never seen them come out of my closet; are they afraid of sunlight? Who knows?
- Nothingbut a black shadow can be seen, shadows that become bigger as I get older.
- They've been in there since I was a teenager, but I've never really feared them or made friends with them. However, I simplylet them remain because it keeps me company and distracts me from feelinglonely.
- My surroundings are peaceful, yet they areconstantly calling my name, whispering it as if they are about to consume me.The voices are becoming increasingly louder, and it is exhausting me.
- Todayis my first day as an adult, and I've seen them come out of my closet for thefirst time. But why am I frightened of touching them? I'm terrified at thethought.
- But suddenly it hit me: I created the demons in my closet. It was my anxiousness and dread that caused them. They were created by the sensation of loneliness; I never wanted to be alone, and I feared abandonment; perhaps that's why they'reconstantly watching me from afar. These are my demons, the demons in my closetthat only I can see.
- Inever got rid of my demons; instead, I learned to embrace them and acknowledgethe truth that they would always be a part of me.
- Days, weeks, months, and years have passed, yetthey are still there.
