- The Trojan war still continued for 10 years now. Odysseus devised a way to end the Trojan War.
- Odysseus: “We will build a giant wooden horse and we will hide inside. They will think we have retreated.”
- “They will take the horse, along with us, inside their palace and we will attack at night.”
- Agamemnon: "That's great! Let's start building the wooden horse"
- When Acheans finished building the enormous wooden horse, they proceeded to hide inside it. In the morning, the Trojans was surprised at the sudden disappearance of the Acheans, and the former thought the latter had retreated and left the enormous wooden horse as a gift. The
- Trojans led the wooden horse inside the walls of their palace.
- "A gift from the Acheans"
- At night, the Acheans went out of the wooden horse and attacked the Trojans. The Achaeans completely ruined the city, killing men and taking the women as prisoners. Helen was finally reunited with her husband Menelaus.
- Menelaus and Helen lived peacefully for the rest of their lives.
- Menelaus: “I finally have you after years of being separated.”
