- Marigolds
- This is Lizabeth and her brother. she is 14 years old and he is 8 years old. She lives in a poor dusty town in the 1930s. Lizabeth is coming of age and having to deal with it.
- Marigolds
- One day Lizabeth was sitting under the tree in her yard. When her brother George came to see if she wanted to do something. He and some of the other neighborhood kids wanted to mess with
- Marigoldsso the group of kids gathered around the house. They decided that miss Lotte's marigolds got to go. So the kids started to gather rocks to throw at the flowers.
- MarigoldThe kids gathered at Miss Lotte's house. They grabbed rocks and started throwing them at Lotte's Marigolds. Then it all broke loose and they stormed the garden making a mess of things. Then running before they ca be caught,
- MarigoldsLizabeth and Joey got home after smashing miss Lottie's Marigolds. Lizabeth didn't feel happy after smashing them but felt guilt for smashing them and making Miss Lottie cry. Lizabeth wanted to apologies to Miss Lottie so she went to her house.
- Lizabeth went to Miss Lottie's house to apologies to her about the flowers. When she saw her just sitting there with no spark in her eyes. Lizabeth felt bad for Miss Lottie since she had to live in poverty her entire life.
