- I've never played this sport before, I've only seen it on tv. Hopefully I still do well
- He gave me a basketball and told me to the ball. He told me to shoot the ball. As he was telling me this I was second guessing myself. But I'm going attempt what he told because I thought I can do this.
- Ok!
- I want you to shoot the ball and see if you can make it
- I think i did a good job shooting!
- I made the shot, and it went in all net. It had incredible backspin. But this did not surprise my dad at all. He knew I could make the shot.
- I made it!
- I knew you could!
- He turned on Espn and there was a basketball game on. It was the LA Lakers vs the New York Knicks. He told me about a player that he liked and that was playing right now. His name was Kobe Bryant, and he went on to score 48 points that game. Then my dad started to tell me about when he used to play basketball
- He is the best player on the lakers and maybe in Nba
- I can't believe that someone is that good!
- KOBE WITH 48 POINTS
- Kobe seems really good!
- he told me how bad it was going outside, he said there were gunshotsevery time he went outside. He told me that I am blessed because I am staying in a good neighborhood. He also went on about how he could not be outside late at night because would killing and shooting people.
- My childhood was rough. As you can see........
- He had a hard childhood
- How was it when you were growing up?
- He also told me playing basketball takes a lot of work and discipline. He also said that you need to sacrifice a lot in order be great at the sport. Then he told me that he believes I will grow into a better basketball player than him. This caused me to play basketball and love the sport.
- Being good at basketball takes a lot of work to do
- I will try my best to be the best version of my self for basketball
- Hopefully I meet my expectations.
- I can almost dunk !
- Fast foward into high school and I have gotten much better. I can almost dunk now too. This is due to me getting better. Also due to the work I've been I been putting in
- I can jump really high!
