- Proclamation of 1763(October 7, 1763)
- Sugar Act(April 5, 1764)
- Stamp Act(March 22, 1765)
- After the French and Indian War, land was acquired from the French. All that land went into the hands of the British. They had given orders that enabled the Colonist from going into that land. They had to stay in the colonies. If not obeyed, they would be punished.
- Boston Massacre(March 5, 1770)

- The British were severely in debt due to the war they had just won. They needed a way to make money to pay off those debts. They decided to tax the colonists by charging more for sugar made products. One major thing taxed was molasses. The colonist used this for baked good, so they were angry over this
- Boston Tea Party(December 16, 1773)
- The same thing for the sugar act. They instead taxed the colonists on stamp-able paper. That would include newspapers, legal documents and more. They were obviously mad with that.
- First Continental Congress(September 5, 1774)
- While the full story isn't fully known due to different sides of the story. We do know how it did kind of go. What most people including myself believe is that some conflict happened between the colonists and soldiers, causing 5 colonists to die. No one knows who started it, but caused more conflict between all of them.
- The colonists were getting tired of all the taxes from the British. They decided to take revenge on them by destroying their property. They threw over 92,000 lbs of tea into the Boston Harbor to protest against the taxes. The British weren't happy with this and took action shortly.
- A meeting is held in Philadelphia. 56 delegates arrive from all the colonies except Georgia to discuss the Intolerable acts. They meet up and discuss on what to do about them and how to get rid of them.
