- A blizzard is a heavy snowstorm with strong winds and very cold temperatures.

- What are you guys doing? I thought you were just coming out here to play in the snow. Also the news says there's going to be a blizzard soon so hurry up.
- Blizzards can occur after snowfall when the high winds cause white outs.
- Winds in a blizzard can reach 35 miles per hour.
- If you get caught in a blizzard stay hydrated so you don't get hypothermia.
