- It's important tto trust yourself and be confident in your work. You've paid attention to the instructions, but you're feeling stuck.When you are feeling unsure of what to do, there are some steps you can take on your own to get you back on track.
- Sure Kyle, I can try to help!
- Hey Sarah, do you think you could explain this to me quickly? I see that you've got lots written down already.
- First, make sure to always read the outline for the assignment. What does it say to do?
- Hi Kyle, how is it going with your work?
- Hi Mrs. Olson. I've reviewed the assignment and asked some friends, but I still need some help.
- If you're still unsure, look around the room at the whiteboard. Are there any extra instructions?
- Let's get to work!
- If you are still feeling like you need help, you can ask one of your classmates who you feel comfortable with. Be polite and on-task.
- Don't get frustrated. If you are still unsure, this is a great time to ask either the CEA or Mrs. Olson. We only do this when we REALLY need help with something.
- Great! Now you can get back to your work and be confident you're doing the right thing. Remember to trust yourself!
