- Let's completely crush some Indians living in Canada, because this is a war against Britain.
- YAY!
- Indian Removal Act
- According to the Indian Removal Act of 1830, you do not own this land and must leave immediately.
- When did I ask?
- But this land is my home!
- Recognition of Texan Independence
- You know, we in the US want more land, so Texas is now officially Independent.
- YEE HAW!!
- But I'm Mexican and I want to live in Texas.
- Andrew Jackson invaded Canada with 50,000 men at the beginning of the War of 1812, where they started by utterly destroying the Creek Indians.
- Panic of 1837
- Oh no! Our money, it's broken!
- The Indian Removal Act of 1830 forced Indians out of their homeland and into Oklahoma, as they went through rain and snow on the Trail of Tears.
- Force Bill
- Listen, we need money. Give us money. Now.
- Jackson recognized the Republic of Texas' independence from Mexico, which greatly angered the Mexicans, to say the least.
- Bank of America Shutdown.
- You know, I've decided I don't like banks, so I'm going to collapse the economy by collapsing the bank, because that will definitely help America.
- By destroying the Bank, Jackson greatly diminished the economy leading to a depression after he left the Presidency.
- The Force Bill of 1833 allowed the government to force tariffs on the people of America because we needed money.
- Dude. Uncool.
- Jackson worked against Nicholas Biddle to abolish the Second Bank of America, which worked but led to the Panic of 1837.
