- These are some things I need to consider when writing my class rubrics.

- Focused on Correctness looks like:Labeling students as-Advanced-Proficient-Needs Improvement-Unsatisfactory
- I want to be able to distinguish these two cases
- Focused on Growth looks like:using words like below to describe their work-highly effective-effective-sometimes effective-room to grow
- I just got my paper back and my teacher believes that I did well but my piece of writing has room to grow.
- Same here! It looks like we need to work on our sentence structures and then our writing will be more effective.

- I just wanted to stay after class to ask you a question about my assignment & its rubric.
- Yes. I believe that you could improve and work on this by including the math vocabulary from our class when explaining your process.
- On my assignment you suggested that there is room for growth when writing my mathematical steps/thinking.
- Yes! Being able to mathematize the world and incorporate vocabulary from class will help you understand the content more efficiently. It's important to know what you are saying so that you could further understand the entirety of the material. If you need any further guidance on this, I have a set of flashcards you could take a look at so that you could come up with your own. I am here for you & believe you will succeed in my class.
