- When did the Morant Bay rebellion begin?
- Morant Bay rebellion was a riot/protest thaat included the meeting of seven hundred black people and ex-slaves to the courthouse and was led by Paul Bogle.
- The rebellion began on October 11, 1865

- The effects were :- 800 protestors were killed by troops or execution after trials-Protestors faced violent punishment -Governor John Eyre was met with scrutiny form England .-Jamaica became a crown colony-Improved infrastructure, irrigation, agriculture and education
