- The Great leap forward was a program made in 1958 this was to make farms make more resources in production witch was a success until later on 1000s of people that were involved with the program died because of hunger.

- In 1966 Mao came back to power and launched the Cultural Revolution a thing only he could solve he also told people in his side that wanted to restore capitalism and make china communist and that many of his young followers made the red guardsto remove the people that did not support Mao.

- IN 1989 the Tiananmen square incident happened this was when people in 1989 did not like Mao and tried to overthrow the government (Mao) because it was strict and communist and people did not like this so they tried to fight for there freedom later on Mao took down any new casts in Tiananmen square were all the people were at that were protesting to get there freedom he sent tanks guards soldiers to kill multiple people that were protesting, why turned to fight for freedom turned to a civil war in Tienanmen square
