On March 5, 1770, British guards were sent to make sure people wouldn't smuggle goods or any products but then one of the guards was thrown snowballs at, by kids, then people were throwing snowballs at guards and a gun went off then the colonist attacked but the guards fought back.
A night on December 16,1773 colonists were tired of the tax of tea, they went to the tea shipment and threw it in the ocean. the tea was worth about 1.2 million dollars at that time.
the British were tired of the colonist and their protest and their retaliation but, the Boston tea party was too much so the British passed a law that they couldn't ship in and out good until they say they will pay it back
