- Hello! I'm Robinson Crusoe, a young man from the city of York. My dream is to one day go to sea. I had 2 brothers but one of them died in war and I never found out about what happened to the second one
- One day, my dad called me to his office to tell me that going to sea would be too dangerous, and he doesn't want to loose me just how he lost my brothers.
- Robinson disobeyed his parents and boarded a ship with his friend. Although he seemed to be liking the sea, Although he seemed to be liking the sea, he was frightened by a storm, telling himself that if he reached land again, he would return to his parents
- After they reached the shore, Robinson boarded the ship of a man with whom he got along very well and who gave him the first notions of mathematics and navigation
- One day, they meet with some moorish pirates from Sallee. Since the pirates were stronger, Robinson became a slave
- Gaining the trust of his master, Robinson manages to go to sea in a boat. On the way, he meets a Portuguese ship, which takes him to Brazil, where he becomes a farmer.
