- Cinder is a 16 year old cyborg living in the futuristic city of New Beijing with her stepsisters and her horrible stepmother. A highly skilled mechanic, Cinder has a booth in the marketplace, and is visited by Prince Kai, who asks her to fix his android. An outbreak of a deadly disease spreads quickly through the marketplace and everything begins to unravel.
