- On August 26th, of 1789 the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the citizens was signed. It was made by Marquis de La Fayette and Thomas Jefferson. This new declaration was made for the individual rights of humans.

- On October 5, of 1789, women from Paris's marketplaces led the March in protest of the high price and scarcity of food. The march was almost 12-miles long and had such an impact that it brought about a change.

- On June 20th and 21st, 1791, the royal family attempted and failed miserably to avoid execution. This damaged the royal family's credibility and demonstrated how untrustworthy they can be. The guillitine approach was used in the execution.

- During the French Revolution, from 1789 to 1799, Napoleon quickly advanced through the ranks of the military. He would win several wars and was given the rank of Commander by the Royale family. Soon later, the victims he killed would come back to haunt him, and his collapse would begin.
- Napoleon was compelled to surrender his kingdom on April 12, 1814, when his army was defeated and seized by combined Austrian, Prussian, and Russian forces. After being exiled to Elba for a year, he returned less than a year later to oppose the weak Bourbon king who had succeeded him. He failed yet again and was transported to the island of Saint Helena, where he died of stomach cancer long afterwards.
