Hi, Mr. Smith, Hi Billy. I appreciate you taking the time to come to parent’s night.
Thanks, I am curious how my son is doing at this new school.
For tonight’s meeting, we’ll look at Billy’s overall behaviour, his strengths and weaknesses in subjects, and a plan for continued improvement. Is that ok?
Great, that’s what I really want to know. How is he doing at school?
Billy has settled in well. As you can see in this report, he gets along well with other students. He follows instructions and is well organized.
I am so happy that he adapted to this school so fast. Because of his father’s job, we have to move it. At the beginning I am a bit worried that it may affect him.
But I see he only got 54% on his English test.
Yes, as you can see, Billy is working below the expected level in Grade 6 in English. We have identified a couple of key areas, grammar and spelling, which Billy can improve on. I’ve taken the time to set some goals for Billy. Here you can see I’ve created two targets for Billy to work on over the next two months.
