  • Employees at the cafeteria
  • Can you believe that one of the assistance almost got hurt because his protected was short and the heat almost went through his skin
  • Still at the cafeteria discussing an issue that has been happening
  • Management still has not yet provide the new PPE. The last meeting we had they said they'll look into it. This is unacceptable as the safety of the workers are not being prioritised.
  • Please look into this.

  • The employees raise up an issue that they have been complaining about still not being resolved or management meeting them half way. An incident happened where an employee almost got burned because the PPE is still an issue. The quality is not good and there is not enough as sometimes they need to reuse some disposable PPE.

  • The employees is telling the shop steward as it has always been a issue. The shop steward is shocked at the news, the employees wanting to strike as this is putting their health and safety at a very high risk. Zoe the shop steward advised that the employees should not strike, she will request a legal strike approval from the union rather.

  • I have done some investigation and it seems like the management is not willing to negotiate. So i would suggest that the employees can do a silence protest.
  • The shop stewards calls the union and set ups a meeting as there has been numerous complains and the worker feel like they are not taken seriously by the management. She send the union the list of issues via email.
  • In the meeting with the employees giving feedback
  • Than you for all for coming, I have received feedback from the union and it seems management is not taking us serious
  • So the shop steward provide the union with her investigation regarding this issues and advised that these issues have been addressed before but still no action was made by the management team. So the worker are angry and want to strike as they tried negotiating but still no results.
  • The union did some investigation on their side and tried to reach to management but they were ignored but the management team. They approved the legal protest but a silence protest.
  • Zoe address the employees and they very upset and ready to put tools down. The shop advised them that they may have a protest but a silence one no vandalize of the of building or property. So she provide the time and date on which the employees can protest.
  • Then that calls for a strike!! NO MORE, WE ARE TIRED OF MANAGEMENT NOT CONSIDERATE.
