- why cant i be accepted by people
- how long am i going to stay in this place?
- how am i going to fit in, in this new country
- i miss my family and my home
- If only my country was free from war, i could go back home

- Barbed wire surrounded the detention centre and even covered the trees, to prevent people from escaping or purposely hurting themselves. It felt more like a prison than a home.
- I get given food im not used to eating, it tastes horrible and makes me want to vomit
- i feel as if im not welcome in this country even though i have no where else to go. people tell me to go back to my country, but they dont understand what war does to a country
