- Now that the US had bought the Louisiana Territory for what seemed like a good deal, they now owned a very beneficial trading port that opened the Mississippi River which would help the US’s economy grow. The US had in mind that they now owned this vast land while tens of thousands of Native Americans were inhabiting the territory, this would be one of the events leading to the downfall of Native Americans.

- From the perspective of the Cherokee, the Indian Removal Act was significant because it created many tensions between the US including the Trail of Tears, where over 4,000 Natives died. From the viewpoint of Americans, the Removal Act was great because people could now settle in more land and have better farming growth.

- From the perspective of the Texans, winning the Texas Revolution was significant because they gained endless land and farming, now Texas could create a massive slave industry. For the Mexicans now many of their citizens would have to change citizenship to Texan, which was not good for Mexico.

- From the perspective of Mexico, the US had unfairly annexed Texas and now had the opportunity to lose even more land throughout the Southwest if they lost this war. The war was significant to the US because after winning the US gained a ton of land in the Southwest.

- From the perspective of the Native Americans, the US gaining Oregon Territory was horrible because settlers started going on mass killings of the Natives and they lost land. From the viewpoint of the US gaining Oregon was great because settlers could now take the Oregon Trail and go to Oregon without trouble, as well the land America gained was rich in trees and diverse wildlife.

- From the perspective of most Native Americans, Westward Expansion was bad because fights would often start up, and thousands of acres of reservation land were being shortened and ignored by the US. Sadly, many Natives died from war and genocides. From the perspective of the US Settlers, they had a perfect opportunity to “start fresh” and move to a new area.
