  • Our first step is to identify a focus area for the observation. What area do you think you need support with to improve student learning?
  • For me it’s making sure that students have meaningful discussions.
  • For me it’s managing transitions between lessons.
  • Good. Now create a checklist of 3-5 points on what your expectations are then we can discuss and finalise your checklist. This is what I will use in the observation to share feedback with you.
  • For Transitions - Learners have clear schedules; Clear and consistent signals for transitions; Activities are prepared and ready for learners at transition areas.
