- Causes of the war was. The British would take our ships and people. Also they gave Native Americans weapons.

- While at sea, the British would stay in our harbor and take our ships. They would take some prisoners. While some would be tossed over board and be killed.
- 7,500 British troops where marching into New Orleans when the ran into the Americans. This would be U.S's greatest victory from the 1812 war. 2,000 British where hurt compared to 70 Americans.
- Neither British or the U.S won the war they both won in a way. The treaty of Ghent settled none of the issues that led us to fight. Over the next years we would force the native Americans out of the Mississippi river and Ohio.
