- the date is July 1942 Anne and her family is hiding from Hitler and his army in answerdamn. They are hiding in the holland and are not trying to get caught by hitler. Hitler trying to kill all jewish people and they how to be very quiet . the annex office staff is helping them . they are moving to not get caught by Hitler.
- The Van Dann's move in it is getting really crowded..Anne is afraid because there is bombing going on outside and Mr. Dussel joins them and the annex becomes even more crowdedAnne has to share a room with him.Mr. Frank's building has been sold and the new owner comes to see it Anne is feeling like she's alone and nobody understands how she's feeling and they almost got caught.
