- The dust-bowl was a series of severe dust storms over the US. Canada was also effected in this but this was one of the main causes of the great depression.

- The stock market crash was also one of the causes of the great depression.By 1933, nearly half of America's banks had failed, and unemployment was approaching 15 million people, or 30 percent of the workforce
- WW2(1939)
- The Hindenburg disaster was a crash that killed multiple people. The Hindenburg was a blimp that caught fire in New Jersey while trying to land, but sadly, it didn't land successfully.
- The Hoover Dam was constructed between 1931-1936. This was one of the best things to happen during this time period. It took around 5 years to build and this was built On the border of Nevada and Arizona.
- World War II, also known as the Second World War, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945. It involved the vast majority of the world's countries—including all the great powers—forming two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis.
