- Romulus and Remus were sent to be drowned in a river by a solider, but the solider couldn't bear drowning the two babies. So he sent them in a raft down a river and they were picked up by wolves.
- One day a Shepard named Faustulus and his wife Acca Larentia stumbled upon the boys, adopted them, and raised them
- Romulus and Remus were raised by the wolf and a woodpecker helped to feed them.
- When the boys were 18 they got revenge on their uncle and killed him. After that they left the kingdom and decided to build their own city, but the boys wanted to build the city on different hills, so they argued for a long time. They ended leaving it up to a game of fortune to see who got to pick which hill their city would be built on.
- After the boys game of fortune was unsuccessful Romulus left and started construction on his own kingdom. He named it after himself Roma. Remus was said to be killed by Romulus or one of his supporters.
- Aeneas was a defender of his town Troy, after his town was defeated by the Greeks during the Trojan War. After the Trojan War he lead the surviving Trojans to Italy.
- Once the Trojans arrived in Italy they constructed, and founded Rome.
- Aeneas became the legendary father of Rome and its first great hero. The people of Rome loved him.
