- Minutemen Defeated at Lexington
- Before the start of the battle, the redcoats marched to Lexington at dawn. When the redcoats just got there, they ran into about 70 waiting minutemen led by Captain John Parker.
- Waiting Minutemen at the North Bridge
- While they were shouting at each other, a shot was fired. No one knew who shot the bullet but both sides let loose an exchange of bullets.
- The Battle of Concord
- After the Minutemen were defeated at Lexington, the redcoats searched the town for guns and supplies from the rebels. After they search the town, they marched to Concord.
- Falling Back to Boston
- While most of the redcoats were looting Lexington, the others went to Concord and met a group of minutemen at the North Bridge. Another battle started.
- The battle started at the North Bridge and was at Concord. Many minutemen and militia began arriving at Concord. The redcoats begin to fall back to Boston.
- Along the road back to Boston, colonists hid behind the trees and fired on the soldiers. By the time they reached Boston, at least 174 were wounded and 73 were dead.
