Early LifeDate and Location: In 1504, Inigo spent most of his early life in the Basque region of Spain.Inigo was sent to the Velsasquez family. He served in courts and enjoyed fame, glory, drinking, brawling and gambling and talking to ladies.Impact on Indigo: Through his early life actions he developed a selfish personality and a reputation of only caring about himself and not the welfare of others. Through his actions he became egotistical. He was so absorbed in himself that he didn't realise the effect it was having others on others.

Middle LifeDate and location. 18 years later In 1522 Inigo spent his time in Manresa which is located in Spain. Inigo went to Manresa to be alone with his thoughts. He lived in a cave, Inigo decides to grow his hair and any food he got he would give away. During Inigo's time in Manresa Inigo wrote the spiritual exercises.Impact on Inigo: After being so selfless towards others Inigo became very sick. Inigo had a change in attitude and now a new perspective on life. He was thinking not for the greater good of himself but the good of others. It was only for Lady de Cuellar that Inigo was able to stay alive.

Later LifeDate and location: 18 years later September 27 1540, Paris, FranceThe Jesuits set schools in Europe and Asia. By 1548 the Jesuits had set up 10 schools across Europe and Asia. Shortly after that the demand soared, more Jesuits were created. Ignatius and the Jesuits pushed their social responsibilities and the Jesuits critical thinking.Impact on Ignatius: Ignatius started on a new journey in his life. He had come clean of all his wrong doings and was doing great deeds for the community. Ignatius was again putting other people before his own needs. He developed leadership skills and communication skills in his time after becoming a Jesuit.
