- Once upon a time, there was a handsome man, named Batara Guru Sahala, he loves fishing. One day, while he is fishing he caught a fish and shocked since the fish is talking and asking to set it free.
- The girl wanted to marry him and asked to keep secret about her.Batara agreed and promised everything to her.Then they happily married and they had two daughters.
- One day Batara got very angry and said the word fish to her daughters,and the daughthers were crying.
- The big hole formed a lake and the lake is known as Toba Lake.
- The daughters saw their mother and tell what happened to them, then the mother got angry and the earth started to shake, the volcano started to erupt, and the earth formed a big hole.
