- Eckles goes into Time Safari Inc. and asks to kill a dinosaur. He meets Travis who will help him achieve that. Eckles, Travis, and a couple other men get into the time mahine.
- CLIMAX

- They go back into time all the way to the BC era, and before the dinosaurs were extinct. Travis explains to Eckles that even stepping on the tiniest rat or stepping off the path will change time forever.
- FALLING ACTION

- When they get out of the time machine, Eckles heard the sound of thunder, then he sees it. The dinosaur. He realizes that he can not do this and he starts freaking out. Travis tells him to go back to the time machine.
- RESOLUTION
- Travis and the other men kill the dinosaur, but while he was walking back to the machine, Eckles steps on a butterfly. He did not notice this because he was too scared to focus on anything.
- Once they get back to present time, everything is messed up! Travis looks around and notices the dead butterfly on the bottom of Eckles shoe.

- Eckles begs for forgiveness but it's too late. Travis is so furious so he shoots Eckles with a sound of thunder.
