- Hello everyone. Today I will talk about history of motion and time study from Shigeo Shingo. A short explanation about him, he was born in 1990 at Saga City, Japan. He graduated form Yamshi Technical College in 1930 and worked for the Taipei Railway Company.

- While in his career, he developed a lot of concept motion and time study. He was developed Just-In-Time (JIT) and Toyota Production System in 1959. He also developed the zero-defects, poka-yoke and mistake proofing in 1961. In 1970, he came with new development which is Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) concept.
