- The story begins with a lawyer asking Jesus how he can inherit eternal life. Jesus then asks, "what is written in the law?". The man replies, "love the Lord, your God with all your mind and all your Soul. Jesus then tells a Parable about the Good Samaritan.

- There was a man going down a road in Jerusalem when he was there attacked by robbers where he was stripped of his clothes laying half dead.

- After the man was left by the robbers, a priest walked down the path the man was laying on and walked past him.

- After the priest left the Jerusalem man on the ground, then came a Levite. With hopes that this Levite would help this hopeless man, the Levite walk past the man. Then a Samaritan walked up to the man and used oil and wine to bandaged his wounds.

- The next day, he put the man on his animal and brought him to an inn to take care of him. He payed the inn keeper two denarii and said he would pay the rest when he got back.

- The One Who Showed Him Mercy.
- I think that lesson of this parable is to never judge a book by its cover. For example, in the story, no one thought the Samaritan who isn't religious but still felt pity and helped the man.
