- Hello my fellow citizens, I decided to create a new law

A positive aspect of having a monarchy government is that kings became kings based on an election instead of an inheritance. A negeative part of having a monarchy government is the kings had to depend on the richer citizens since they were able to afford all the armor and to supply soldiers. - A oligarchy is ruled by a group of wealthy men. They protected their own wealth. The negative part of an oligarchy is the rich became richer and the poor became poor. The time period was 800-650 BCE.
