My trig comic strip project

- Bernard is stranded on an island and he decides to try and grab a banana from the top of the tree. Bernard is standing 13 feet away and looking at the tree at an angle of 71 degrees. He uses trig. to find out of tall the tree is. He figures out that tan(71) x 13 = 37.75. So the banana is about 37.8 feet high.

- Bernard finally has found a limited food supply for now and is hoping to being able to survive until a rescue search starts.
- Some time has passed and Bernard figures out that the banana isn't ripe since he is color blind and couldn't tell the difference between a ripe and an unripe banana.
- I don't feel so good.
- Bernard then starts to sleep and feel better until the next day.

- Bernard finds a mini island real close that has a banana tree. He notices that the tree 9 feet tall and knows that the hypotenuse is 20 feet. He uses trig to figure out the distance from the tree to him because he is tired after getting to the island and he doesn't want to move for a minute. He figures out that sin-1 (9 / 20) = 26.7. So the distance is about 27 feet.
