- It was very common for people to bootleg and rum run. Some people like Al Chapone, Roce perri and Bessie starkman were all famous gangsters that would bootleg alcohol.

- Prohibition was ended during the twenties in Canada, because criminals were making millions in the illegal sale of alcohol and bootlegging. Canada still tightly controls the sale of liquor to this day and they make sure everything is flowing smoothly involving liquor and distribution.
