- The Greeks declare war on Troy and the battle continues for 10 years.
- The three goddesses, Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite argue over who is the fairest and consult Paris, who chooses Aphrodite.
- In return for choosing her, Aphrodite offered Paris the most beautiful mortal, whose name was Helen. Paris kidnapped Helen with the help of Aphrodite and took her to Troy.
- At night, the Greeks climb out of the Trojan horse and open the gates to the rest of their army, who sailed back at night. The Greeks finally defeat the Trojans after 10 years.
- Helen's father and all of her previous suitors (including her husband) are angered by her disappearance and set out to find her. They find that they have no winds to sail, because the leader, Agamemnon, angered the goddess Artemis and must sacrifice his daughter in order to sail.
- The Greeks finally seem to retreat and sail away in their ships while leaving behind a large wooden horse. The Trojans take the horse into their city as a token of good luck, but some of the Greeks are actually hidden inside.
