The Beautiful duckling

- Julie was born with beautiful white shimmering wings and a bright orange bill with deep blue eyes. She was the most beautiful duckling our colony has ever seen.
- Growing up she just stood out to all the other ducks. All the male ducks tried to get with her and all the female ducks wanted to be her. Ducks kept asking her to be her friend but she knew it was because they wanted to look cool that all the other ducks were Julie's friends.
- But sometimes she just wanted to be a duck, playing in mud, getting dirty,and making a mess. But she thought if she was to get dirty other ducks would think she's making fun of them so even though she was a duck she wasn't allowed to do duck things.
- One day she got sick of feeling like she has to be perfect so she ran away so she could be her on her own.
- As she was swimming through the pond she heard a sound but didn't think much of it. Couple moments later she saw a hunter she tried to run and fly away but she was too slow. The hunter said he was the most beautiful duck he has ever seen and he wanted to kill her so he could hang her on his wall.
- Julie is swimming as fast as she can but as she went to go under the water she was too slow and she died to the hunter.The other ducks saw what happened and learned that even though you're the most beautiful thing, bad things can happen, so it's better to be yourself and happy with yourself.
