- We need to take Carthage’s land
- Ha! All of this is our land!
- NO Rome is because we can hook you and raid your ship!
- Carthage is going to win!
- Rome at the start of the Punic Wars started to realize that Carthage was gaining power so they decided to go to war for their land. They went to war with Carthage and the first war was to take place on water. Rome were more land fighters so they made a bridge on the back of their ships to hook on to the others and raid the enemy ships.
- This time we have Elephants so Carthage is going to win!
- No we out numbered you so Rome wins!
- Carthage goes to war with Rome hoping they can take their territory and has no idea of Romes plan.
- Ha! I guess in the end Rome wins after all.
- In the First Punic War Rome fought Carthage on water with ships and won.
- This is all ours now.
- In the Second Punic War Carthage marched over on Elephants to Rome but Rome still won.
- In the Third Punic War Rome Started toward Carthage and when they got there they killed some and sold the rest as slaves. Rome then burned Carthage down and won the Third Punic War.
- Rome takes Carthage’s land, kills most of the people of Carthage and sells the remaining as slaves.
