- I didn’t know she had come back from New York until I read about it in the newspapers.
- Then Tony came in and sat on the couch, they talked about his life in the province and Kikay.
- One time Tony visited the house of Aling Atang to Visit his ex-fiance Kikay who recently came home in Tondo.
- - That girl arrived only last Monday and look at what has happened to me! When she first saw me, she was furious; she said that I need a completeoverhauling.
- While tony and aling ateng sharing stories, someone knocking the door, and when tony opens the door it was his childhood friends Totoy and Nena.
- It was so nice to see you again.

- They happy reminisced their childhood once again with their aling ateng.

- While aling ateng went to buy something outside, Totoy, Nena, and Tony ask her about her one year in new york.
- But in her gestures and her words are different, compared to the Kikay that they knew since when she was a child.
