Scene 3 :


the next scene shows Brandon sitting on the same bench that earlier with a notebook.

The girl who ignored him in the corridor sits next to him.

Brandon is surprised.


She doesn't react but finally their eyes meet. She looks sorry and sings that she is deaf.

Brandon stops looking at her, confused and sorry.


She writs on her copybook : "It's alright, I 'm Emily"

Brandon smiles and answers : "I'm Brandon"

they both seem happy and smile to each other.


Scene 1 :


The first scene opens on Brandon and a girl walking in opposite direction. Brandon smiles at her and tries to look confident


she doesn't respond and keeps walking until a classroom, where she goes in.


Brandon looks at her, walks away, disappointed and confused.


Scene 2 :


Our view is Brandon, coming home. he locks the front door behind him and stays in the hall.


Nobody answer him and he goes to his bedroom.

He opens his bag and finds the flayer for the prom. he looks at it very sadly

Place : a corridor in the school
