- Tybalt and Mercutio begin fighting. Romeo wants to stop the fight so he throws himself into it. While Romeo is doing this Tybalt stabs Mercutio below Romeos arm.
- Mercutio drops down to the floor and says " A plague o' both your houses". Mercutio dies cursing both families. Romeo is extremely mad thinking to himself that he shouldve accepted the fight to begin with. He thinks his love for Juliet has made him soft so he starts to fight Tybalt.

- The prince of Verona comes and asks what happened here, Benvolio Explains what happened and tells the prince that Romeo was trying to keep the peace and it was Tybalts fault. Tybalts aunt (Lady Capulet) says that Benvolio is lying to protect Romeo and that she demands that Romeos life will be taken away. The prince comes to a conclusion that Romeo will be exiled from Verona and killed if ever seen in Verona again.
- Ok, Romeo shall be exiled from Verona and if seen here again he shall be killed
- Hes lying to protect Romeo. I demand you to take Romeos life.
- *Explaining what happened and how Romeo wanted to keep the peace*
