- Now what about the other states of matter?
- GAS
- Of course, let me get to that part now.
- So what about the last state of matter?
- Vanessa: "No I wouldn't mind at all."Katie: " So there are 3 states of matter. Let me start with Solid, solid is like a table it is stiff and won't move unless you move it. And if your asking about the atoms, since solids are stiff all the atoms are gramed up together."Vanessa: "Wow I never learned about this."Katie: " Also if you melt a solid like for example ice it will turn into a liquid like water."
- Katie: "The other one is liquid, now liquid is like water, it fills up and shapes what it's going into like, let's say water is going into a triangle container it will take the shape like a triangle as it's in there because it's filling the place. and the atoms are all together and move together as if like the container is moving sideways it goes sideways together unless you drop it and it will be everywhere on the floor."Vanessa: "This is very interesting to hear."Katie: "And also if you also boil liquid like water it turns into gas."
- Katie: " Now the last one is gas, basically gas, gas is everywhere and very fast. The atoms are just everywhere they don't stick together unless there in some container as well but if they take the top off the container all the gas is released everywhere ."Vanessa: " Woah thank you for telling me this information now, now I know what are the states of matter!"Katie: " Of course anytime!"
