  • Circe warns Odysseus of the dangers of his quest back home. She tells him about the Sirens, the singing killers who will lure you in with their song and kill you. She also warns him about Scylla, a grisly monster living in the steep mountains.
  • Watch out for the Sirens, They will try to lure you in and distract you. Keep an eye out for the great monster Scylla as well.
  • Finally out to sea, Odysseus and his crew are tempted by the infamous Sirens. Odysseus has been tied up on the boat in order to protect the crew from getting compromised by the creatures. The rest of the crew has beeswax in their ears to protect thenselves from the tempting song of the Sirens.
  • Whip him more! Don't let him out of those restraints!
  • Let me go! Untie me, set me free men!
  • I should probably tell them about Scylla...but I don't know how they'd handle it!
  • Odysseus is torn between keeping his knowledge from his crew mates and telling them that there's a monster up ahead. He decides against telling them about Scylla because he doesn't want them to panic and disrupt the order on the ship.
  • Looks like smooth sailing from here! Not a monster in sight.
