- In the first trimester your baby is roughly the size of an ant. your baby's heart begins to beat and facial features develop. And at the end of the first trimester the embryo becomes a fetus.
- You have three trimesters over a 9 month period. within the first two months of your pregnancy, your baby will develop form a ball of cells called blastocyst to an embryo that will develop into your baby
- In your second trimester, in the first two months, your baby's sex is revealed. your baby will be able to see light and he begins breathing. you will start to feel your baby kick and move and they will be able to feel you doing physical activities.
- At the end of your second trimester the taste buds develop and the brain is growing quickly. your baby is almost a foot long.
- Your last trimester, your baby's brain is developing neurons. and his body will be preparing for the outside world. your baby's lungs will work and your baby should be fully developed and be ready for the outside world.
